A Message to ExpertCare Clients

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

ExpertCare Clients,

Today Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a Stay Home Executive Order that is effective at midnight.  The Stay Home Executive Order has multiple exceptions including the care of persons with disabilities. This exception means we continue to provide services as usual.

As we continue to provide services it is crucial we continue to take preventative measures and self-monitor for signs of illness consistent with COVID-19.  If you or someone in your home have symptoms of an illness, please postpone services until receiving guidance from a healthcare professional. They will determine if a medical evaluation is necessary or other measures should be taken. Please notify ExpertCare at 248-643-8900 if you are unable to receive services at this time and on advised measures if applicable.

We want to thank you for your communication efforts with our team and working together to ensure ongoing support services can be delivered in this unprecedented time. The ExpertCare team is still maintaining our daily business operations and coordination of services to ensure individuals who depend on us are receiving the support services they need. We encourage you to contact the office at 248-643-8900  if you have any questions or concerns.

Stay healthy and safe,

The ExpertCare Team

Message from DTE in regards to COVID-19

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

DTE Energy’s number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers. We make every effort, every day, to ensure we deliver energy to our more than 3 million customers. We have well established processes that provide financial assistance to hundreds of thousands of customers who, at times, need help to ensure their energy delivery is uninterrupted. In the face of this global coronavirus pandemic, we are on high alert to help those customers whose lives are being disrupted. As a result, we are suspending shutoffs for non-payment for those customers who are low income eligible, as well as for senior citizens, effective immediately through April 5, 2020. This timing could be extended depending on the impact that the virus has on our communities. Those customers enrolled in our Senior Winter Protection Program have had their end dates automatically extended through May 3, 2020 without additional actions required on their part. Customers who are impacted by COVID-19 — those with a sudden loss of income or medical condition — as well as our vulnerable senior citizens, are encouraged to contact us at 1.800.477.4747 to determine eligibility for our payment assistance program. We want every one of our customers to have energy, and to be warm and safe.
